Ipod help.............?

Question

Whenever I try to upload new music from CDs onto my ipod, it will say it's impoerted and have green ticks beside the selected songs but when i check my ipod it isnt on there. I have been trying for a whole year and none of my friends can help. Can I erase all of it and put my new CDs on fresh??????

have you tried importing the songs into itunes

then plugging the ipod into itunes ??

you can't import CDs into ipods

have you checked that you are importing the songs into the playlist that syncs to your ipod?

you need to convert the audio from cd to .mp3 format and then transfer it to your ipod. I am sure it would work.

importing the CDs only puts them in iTunes on your computer. It doesn't put them on the iPod. To do that, click on music, highlight the songs you want and drag them to the iPod listed on the left side of iTunes. When you do it right, iTunes will tell you that it is moving the songs onto your iPod.
