  1. Use iDump [http://www.codershole.com/idump.php] to backup all your songs (the program lets you transfer all your songs from your iPod to your computer), once they are on your hard drive, burn them to a CD, uninstall iTunes, download CCleaner [http://www.codershole.com/idump.php] run it (it cleans any old entries from installed programs in your registry, don't worry, it is safe), download and reinstall iTunes and you should be fine from there!

I seriously doubt your music files are causing your computer to slow down, that is, unless your hard drive is tiny or you have a MASSIVE amount of music.

  2. Backup whatever music you have on your ipod, etc, then reinstall your OS.

  3. It sounds like ur mom deleted a running program that was attached to itunes. So you can do three things.

One-You can check for updates to itunes and if there is update and all programs attached to itunes should reboot w/o deleting itunes

Two- Run Diagnostics to see what is wrong with itunes only if the update thing doesnt work

Three- if those things don't work then try to move all of ur songs into a folder not related to itunes and ur are going to have to delete itunes and redownload it from Apple. Its free by the way.

    Hope that helps! Good Luck!
