Ipod help? will all of my stuff erase off my ipod?

Well, i got a virus on my other computer, and i cant even open anything because it just wont open anything, so i hooked up my old computer and i didnt have any music at all on it, but i downloaded a few songs, i had around 800 on my old one and like 50 on this new itunes, its an IPOD TOUCH, and i think ive seen somewhere that you can hook the itouch to like 5 different computers and it wont erase is it true? im about to do it but i need to know this..please thanx...

  1. It depends.

    When you first hooked your iPod to your computer on iTunes did you check the box that says to manually sync your songs or to automatcially sync your songs. If you picked automatically, yes all your songs will be gone.


  2. I know a professional iPod Transfer program. It will help you transfer songs, movies, photos from iPod to iPod, iTunes to iPod, iPod to computer local disk. Maybe it can help you out.
