Ipod music sounds like they are singing in a tunnel - HELP PLEASE

I downloaded music from limewire (which all sounded great) but when I put them onto my ipod either they are singing in a tunnel or I can hardly hear them singing, just hearing the music - HELP!!!!!

you need new earphones...or your ipod's equalizer is set differently...don't worry don't worry it's not a bad problem...

sounds like your head/ear phones are broken. have you tried another pair?  :)
