Ipod nano...2nd generation??

so heres the thing- my ipod was submerged under water for maybe about 2 minutes. (a pool) will it live?? im so scared cuz i didnt even pay for all of it. it was a bday gift from the rents. they payed more than half and i did the rest!! right now its in a cup of rice to help it dry (my dad suggested that) then i called apple and they said that i should keep it in there for 1-2 days and then charge it to see wut happens. does anyone have anymore advice!! im all ears.....

  1. Really you should try the suggestion by Apple it really just a matter of ensuring it is completely dried out before plugging it in to charge. I think that is what will really kill it. So what you can do after the 1-2 in the Rice is to put it in the sunlight for a complete day for it to completely dry out. Then try charging it to see what happens but this is no guarantee it will work.

  2. My dad dropped his ipod in a glass of orange juice! he sent it to apple and they sent him a new one with no questions asked.

    Give it a go, just say it broke randomly, he did and they replaced it for free even though it was out of waranty.
