I have this weird thing going on which is when ever i tip my ipod over to the left or right, my headphones make less sound, but when i twist the headphone jack to a certain point it works, but only at that point. If there is anything I can do, I'd really appreciate your advice. If it's the ipod I have a warranty, so that's fine, but if it's the headphones, I would like to know if there is any way I can possibly fix them. Thanks.

  1. maybe the headphones are broken or the part you insert the headphones

  2. it sounds like you have a short in your headphones which often happens from the ipod being dropped while the headphones are in your ears or the headphones being stretched too much. the wires within the headphone cord just get bent and twisted the wrong ways to where they don't connect anymore and it interferes with the sound. i suggest just purchasing some cheap headphones walmart has JVC "jelly" headphones for 10 dollars and they're good quality for 10 bucks. i just have to replace my headphones every so often due to the fact that i wrap my cord around my ipod and i drop it on occasion. hope this was somewhat helpful :)

  3. that happens to mine sometimes too but not that bad so i don't really know... but i think any hedphones will work so if it is the headphones then u can just buy new ones really cheap.

  4. I would suggest purchasing new headphones.

  5. I only have a shuffle, but I'd suggest buying new headphones. If that dosn't work....then I hope someone submits a better answer! TT_TT
