  1. You need third party software to convert dvd to MP4, I always use Aimersoft iPod Converter Suite, it can easily convert dvd to ipod with high quality, that's really good, you can check it out here for free:

    http://www.aimersoft.com/ipod-converter-...

Then just follow below steps to add movie on ipod

    1. Open iTunes and click "File" to add your videos to iTunes library.

2.Then plug in your iPod to computer, iTunes will detect your iPod as a device. select your iPod device on the left panel of iTunes, click "Movies" tab, check the videos you want to sync and click "Apply", done.

Hope it helps, of course, http://answers.yahoo.com can give you more options

  2. Go to http://handbrake.fr and download Handbrake. It's a free program that lets you rip DVDs to iPod format. When it's installed, put in the DVD and start up the program. From the list of presets on the right, pick one of the ones made for the iPod. There are four, there's two for regular iPods and two for iPhones/iTouches, and each has a low res and high res version. Pick the one you want and start ripping. This will take a while, but it's the easiest way to do it. It helps to close as many programs and things on your computer as you can. When it's done, drag the file into "Movies" on your iTunes and sync the iPod. If you did everything right, it should all go over just fine. I've done this to plenty of movies and it works great.

Also, some people might tell you that this is illegal, but it's not. It's completely legal as long as you legally own a copy of the movie (it becomes illegal if you sell or give away your copy though) and as long as you don't distribute it online.

Just so you know, I copied and pasted the above from another answer I gave to someone, but it's pretty much the same thing I would've told you if I hadn't. One thing I will tell you is that you'll have to manually rip each episode separately, and it will take a while. They will also take up a lot of space, so don't expect to be able to fit a lot on your Nano after you put them on.

  3. You can try Cucusoft DVD and Video converters suite which includes Cucusoft Ultimate DVD and Video Converter Suite. It is the best all-in-one DVD and video conversion software converts DVDs and videos to play on almost any portable device including iPod, iPhone, Zune, PSP, video capable MP3 players, video capable mobile phones, and Pocket P.C., etc.
