Ipod! need EXTREME help!?

Ok so i broke my old ipod nano so i bought a new one today. I am trying to move my songs from my old ipod to my new one. i heard that u can easily delete all your songs and i do not wanna do that. when i pluggeed in my new ipod and brang up itunes it says lets get started. if i hit continue will it delete all my songs? thx

  1. go to advanced and disable automatic syncing on your computer. Then on your computer and click on your ipod, and disable syncing, and you will be fine.


  2. Don't worry, it won't delete all your songs. And by the way... How did you manage to break your iPod Nano?! They're built like brick dunnies!

  4. I've heard the same.

    If you'd really want to be safe, I would burn your songs to a CD or Save them somewhere else, others than itunes (Go into your documents, copy the songs into a new folder, but don't put the folder in the itunes category).  Then if it deletes all of your songs, put the cd in and add it to iTunes, or move the folder into iTunes buy importing the songs.
