  1. press the middle button and menu button at the same time til it restarts..usually u have to leave them pressed for 5 seconds

  2. ok so you it sounds like you're gonna have to restore it...switch the hold switch on the top and slowly count to 5 then switch it back off and hold the center button and the menu button at the same time, this should restart it and allow you to connect to itunes if it resets. if not then try restarting your computer and then starting itunes and plugging the ipod back in....if none of this works i would ask to borrow someone else's ipod or something because apple support isnt open on sundays

  3. if its not an ipod touch, switch the lock button on and then off a couple times and when its on unlocked, hold down the middle button and the menu button for a few seconds and you should see an apple logo.. if that doesnt work try it again but hold down the menu and play button.. its been awhile since i've done it bc i have an ipod touch now.. but that should work

or if its completely dead charge it for awhile then try to turn it on.

  4. Have you thought about plugging it into your computer?  It may just need charging, but if not the problem could be solved just by plugging in your ipod into your computer, but if not it may be easier to try and import all of your songs onto your ipod again.

I hope this has helped, but if it hasn't.. try to open up itunes and look at the help window.

    Good luck with the show!

  5. First, try this:

    1) Reset the iPod: This is equivalent to restarting your computer. All of your data will not be lost.

If you have an iPod with a click wheel (Classic and Nano to name 2) hold down the middle button and the Menu button on the click wheel until the Apple logo appears on the screen. If you have an iPod Touch, hold the sleep/wake button on the top and the Home button on the front of the device until the Apple logo appears. If you hold either one of these buttons for about 30 seconds or more, try option 2.

    2) Reset the firmware. Again, your data will not be deleted in this step.

Try the same thing in option 1, but this time connect it to a power source. This process bailed me out a few times. I learned about it in the iPod instruction manual. It's better to connect it to a wall adapter if you have one. If not, your computer may work, too. Again, hold the buttons until the Apple logo appears.

    Best of luck!
