Question:

Ipod question? broken screen

About a year and a half ago or so I bought an ipod from ebay.. Worked great, nothing wrong with it.. My brother put it in his backpack and took it to school, when at school he says he threw the backpack "not thinking" and broke the screen on the ipod. It still plays music I just cant see anything. Is there anyway to fix it without having to buy a new one? Possibly something to too expensive, I don't want to spend 200 dollars fixing it, that's almost as much as a new one would cost. So any suggestions?

  1. Not that I know of.

If the LCD screen is broken, that's it. You need a new one.

Sounds to me that if you bought a used one, and have had it for a year and a half, the iPod coming up on its demise.

If you can stand having an iPod with no screen for another month or so, there may be a new update to the iPod.

    Good Luck

    Hope it helps :D

  2. I'm sorry, this may not be the answer you want, but if the screen is broken, and you've bypassed the 1 year warranty, your only alternative is to get a new one. My friend has the same problem and she looked into everything, but her only option is to get a new one.
