Ipod question!!! please help!?

my ipod just broke. it froze and isn't responding to anything i try!!!!! i need help so bad. oh and it was on hold and when i tried to take it off the little lock symbol in the top righthand corner didn't go away, so if the hold button is broken, would be covered in the waranty??? help me!

plug it into itunes and see what that does if it doesnt work then restore it sry gll

This has happened to me before and it's no biggie. Don't panic. What you need to do is hold the play/pause button and the center button at the same time for a few seconds. Then it should repair itself. =) hope i helped.

don't use it for about a week, and re-plug it into your computer, and try it then, if not, call Apple, the number is on the apple website. try it out!

im guessing it's the new one.... so hold on the menu and center button for like 5 sec and then it should show the apple symbol

if it's frozen on, let the battery die then recharge it.

The same thing happened to me.

I just let the battery drain dead and unlocked it.

After you recharge it, it should be okay.

hold the menu button and the center button at the same time to restart your iPod. this usually solves most problems. if this does not help, i dont know what to tell you...

ah. try to hold up the top button, and the middle circle at the same time for like 10 seconds. this usually restarts it and an apple symbol shows up , if this doesnt work im not sure then i guess im not help!

Did you try pushing the middle and top buttons and holding them down? That should reset it I think. Hope everything works out.

I would check the warranty. It should be covered as long as you weren't messing around dropping it, or anything like that, even though why you would do i dint know. Just take it back to the store and they sould replace it, and take the receipt!!!

Turn the hold button off and hold down menu and play at the same time till it reboots, it'll be fine.
