Ipod shuffle charging problem?

my ipod shuffle has no lights at all, so i presume its completely flat, when i charge it via the usb port, do i have it swithed on or off, and how long should it be before it flashes orange like its meant to when charging, thanking in anticipation !

Make sure its a full power USB port (not one on a hub nor a laptop) but direct to the computer  on a powered HUB as low powered USB ports cannot charge!

Hold switch should be to on as well;

it should take 5 seconds max for the orange charging to appear then about 20 mins for full power. If you have no light then the USB port does not have enough power to charge or the internal battery is dead.

I have noticed that mine only charges if it is switched on.  It starts flashing straight away.

i have one of the older ipod shuffles and i cant get it 2 charge.... help me to...?!

wen its flashes orange its charging

wen its green it is charged xox
