Ipod touch's play count doesnt work

Question

When i play a song on my ipod, it doesnt count how many times it plays. i listen to the song all the way though.the play count works on itunes, but almost every song that i play on my ipod doesnt get counted. already restored it, doesnt help. doesnt matter if its resolved, cause i can still listen to music.

it doesnt really matter unless u show off how many times you've played a song which is pointless!!!
