  1. its wi-fi internet

and that can be found in certain places

    to connect

go to settings then wi-fi make sure its on and see if any available networks pop up. if they have a pad lock symbol next to them then that means that that network is locked. to access the internet from that network you need a pass code. there are also unlocked networks that you can connect to just by selecting them. then to see if your online you should have a signal bar in the upper left corner.

check in different locations for wi-fi

  2. well are you sure that you have wireless internet or Wi Fi? Because if you dont then theres no point in trying

    hope this helped

  3. unlike the iPhone, the iPod Touch does not come with built-in internet connectivity (the iPhone connects to AT&T cellular network and thats paid for on monthly basis).

if you have internet access at home through a cable modem or dsl connection, and you have a wifi router that you can connect the ipod touch to, then the ipod touch can connect to the internet through your wifi router and cable/dsl connection.

FYI, for those folks who travel a lot and want high speed "3G" internet access while on the road for their laptops or their gadgets like an Apple iPhone or iPod Touch, or a Sony PSP/Mylo/PS3, or Nintendo Wii/DS or Nokia 770/800/810 tablet, an Archos 605 WiFi, or even the Chumby... take a look at this article:

its also a good way to get "3G" speeds on any iPhone! and faster than AT&T!
