Ipod touch help????????????????

hey, my ipod touch isnt working properly, i can go onto safari and surf the net.... if u have an ipod touch, youll know that theres a youtube and itunes icon on the main menu screen, but whenever i try and get into either, it says that i cant connect to them, but safari works???

ive tried everything, ive tried resetting all settings, ive tried resetting network settings, everything, can anyone tell how to fix this, (without calling appl) p.s safari works fine, but itunes and youtube dont

try a restore and if your on 2.0 try updating to 2.0.1
