Ipod touch users...help me?

i got my ipod touch about a month after it came out. after i upgraded my itunes, it asked me if i wanted to buy apps program (which allows you to downlad games, and etc. onto the ipod) for $9.95 i have a itunes gift card for twenty dollars, can that pay for the apps progam?? or do i have to use a credit card??

it shouldn't because that itunes giftcard is for music. what you are trying to do is like trying to use the itunes giftcard to buy a new ipod.

maybe...just maybe... take it to the apple store and ask them if they can substitue the giftcard to pay for the apps. the people at the store can realize that the giftcard is money that can, theoretically be applied to pay for any apple product but the computer, after you enter in the number, only recognizes it as money for purchasing music.

you should just activate the gift card and try it.  if it doesn't work then you can use it to buy music

yeah it can buy it. And i would suggest getting it. Its awesome! but only buy the free aps.
