Ipod touch wireless router internet problems?

Question

i just bought an ipod touch. it works fine accept for one thing whenever i try to connect to the internet it denies me. i have my own router that i use for my dell vostro. i know i am using the right password because it is the correct one when i use my dell. but for some reason it wont let my itouch on for some reason. whats the problem here. how do i fix it?

is your router configured for MAC authentication or WEP?

I have an ipd touch and my linksys router is configured for WEP ( password ) and it works fine for me. I use it all the

time.

check your wireless router logs for the reasons as to why it denied access to the ipod touch.

If you can't connect to your own internet, maybe the problem is a FALSE password. Did you try using the password you used on your account at the internet provider.

Wait for things to load then VOILA! There goes you're internet!

PS:

You cant use the internet anywhere father than 15-20 ft. away from the wireless router.

Example:Your office.
