Ipod trouble ...please help

my ipod nano (3rd edition) 4gb just froze while i was watching a video podcast and is unresponsive to everything including turning it off and resetting it and even plugging it into the computer... i just bought it less than a month ago... so i'm really mad and i dont know what to do... please help

  1. let the batt die the reset it  


  2. Press and hold the menu and ok button for like 10 seconds or until it lights up again.

  3. yeah, they tend to freeze alot. you said you tried resetting it? how long did you hold it down though. usually all you need to do is hold down the middle circle and the top button for about 20 seconds.  

  4. That is annoying. Try hooking it up to your computer and restoring it. Make sure you have all your movies and songs backed up as it will erase them. That should work. If it does not, your iPod should still be in warranty. Just take it to the Apple Store and have them take a look.

  5. Press the center button and the menu button down simultaneously for about 10 seconds untill the screen goes black and then to the gray apple logo while plugged in. If that doesn't work try resotring it from disk mode. same as reset, but after the screen goes black let go off the buttons and then press the center and play/pause button for the same amount of time untill you see a check mark on the screen.
