Question:

Ipod trouble...won't charge

my ipod nano is only a month old and nonw when i connect it to my computer it says the device is connected but then it after a few seconds it says it's disconnected....and then after a few seconds it turns back on again... itunes doesn't even have time to come up... also when i already have itunes loaded up it doesn't even show that the ipod is connected...i have no battery left and i think that might be the problem but i don't know what to do now...i tried resetting it but that doesn't help because there is barely any battery left and it just shows the apple logo and then the "connect to power" sign.... please help

  1. Let it sit there for a while and see if it charges.  When dead it can take a while.  

    Try a different port on the computer.  

    Try a wall charger.  

    If that fails try re starting the computer and the above again.  

    If still no, try re-loading iTunes.  

    If still no, use your apple warrenty to call.


  2. Take it back to the store and buy something other then an Ipod.  They are not all they are cracked up to be, and there are better, more simple, higher quality products out there now.
