Ipod troubles...SOMEONE HELP PLEASE?

i removed al the songs off of my ipod using winamp (thats the program i usually use) and it still says i have 3.5gb space free when i should have 8.gb as it is a 8gbipod nano, how can i format it? someone help

just plug it into iTunes and restore to factory settings. works every time

and if that doesn't work for you (like it always has for me) you can call 1-800-MY-APPLE or go to your local apple store and they will either fix it or give you a new one
