Ipod volume up to high?

If i play my ipod up really high will it make me lose my hearing? I thought ipods had anvolume lock or somthing?

  1. they say that you should use the 60/60 rule with ipods

    level of loudness up to 60% and for no longer than 60 minutes

    it could effect your hearing so just be careful

  3. Over time, listening to music loudly can damage your overall hearing. If you go to the settings list on your iPod, there is an option for Volume Limit.

  5. If you play your ipod to the maximum volume and you listen to music for like 3hrs a day then u can lose your hearing.if you play your ipod on its speakers its safe!! Remember to lock your volume at some low level!!

  6. apparently an hour a day of loud volume music will make us deaf but yea

    & yer it does hav a volume lock in settings
