Ok so i got my Ipod bout 2 years ago and i have my Itunes on my computer. and i got a laptop a couple of months ago and i want to be able to use my laptop to put songs on my ipod seeing as my old computer is getting ready to explode!!

but anytime i try and sync my ipod on the laptop it says something like

' only 1 itunes per ipod, delete all files blah blah blah....'

so basicly, is there anyway i can put songs on my ipod using my laptop without deleting all my songs that are already on my ipod??

  1. what you can do is buy one of the backup things and transfer all music from your computer w/ the ipod already on it. for the songs you didnt buy, then download itunes on your new computer an dtranfer the songs from the backup into the new computer and delete all songs from ipod like it says when you plug it in to the new computer, resync it w/ the new computer.

  2. Ok so plug in your ipod into your computer then enable disk mode. then go to my computer and click on your ipod. theres this hidden folder called "ipod_control". to view it, go to tools, then folder options and select view. mark the one that says show hidden folders and files. then you'll see the ipod_control folder. click on it then it'll show music. so then, just click on the folders inside and copy the music to your itunes or whatever. enjoy!

  3. did you already change the settings on your ipod to "manually manage songs and videos" or something like that? if you have, then there should be no problem syncing your ipod to your laptop.

  4. try tune ranger it will transfer everything on your ipod to itunes

  5. i had the same situation.

First, erase all the music on your iPod and then sync it with ONE computer. Then plug your iPod into the second computer and it'll ask if you want to "Transfer Purchases." Click yes,
