So now its quite clear Iran has balistic missiles, capable of striking Israel , they have shown the world that they are not afraid to test them , and that they will in time "wipe Israel "of the map. My question..what do you think should be done either by the west or by Israel....J

  1. Iran is provoking the West by threatening Israel like that..but Israel will retaliate and there will be a snow-ball effect and in the end..Sadly No Winners only Vast destruction of Life, etc.  The president of Iran is a religious fanatic and wants to fulfill his view of the end times.  It seems that sanctions will not deter Iran from it's nuclear ambitions so nations must stand up to Iran and do something to stop them before it's too late..perhaps air attacks to destroy their underground nuclear facilities.  But of course the world risks the flow of Oil to oil thirsty nations, such as ours..that is Why we need to do something Now to stop being so reliant on foreign oil !

I say send the president of Iran to another planet !!

  2. Well, it's kind of like this.  If you told me that you were going to wipe me off the map you darn well better have brought  a mop because I'm gonna make you try.  So will Israel, soon.

  3. israel can take care of itself very well, without being entangled in diplomatic channels and has won the respect of many by its no-nonsense defense policies. the u.s. should steer clear of iran, as they have proved to be untrustworthy before, and this administration has shown it is not capable of waging combat efficiently. in contrast, it seeks to placate former enemies for profitable gain, such as north korea and vietnam, sweeping the deaths of thousands under the rug, as if it had never happened, much like atrocities suffered by the native americans and asian-americans in past history.

  4. Ahmadinejad has threatened to "wipe Israel off the map."

Now, can anybody provide proof that he said that or is that propaganda?

  5. Isreal must prepare to defend itself; the US needs to stay out of it. We are not the world police although we think so; let the UN deal with it.

  6. .The only thing the West can do is to completely isolate Iran. I think you are right they will do as they have threatened to Israel. However will Israel do a preemptive strike? Israel is no threat to anyone but I pray we will not send anymore of our boys to war and wish I could turn back the clock to before Mr Blair and Mr Bush ever got to make such a disastrous decision. The world has seen much more terror ever since. Only my opinion of course

  7. All of this started when Israel's deputy PM Shaul Mofaz said last month that striking Iran was "unavoidable". How exactly do you expect Iran to react? Should they be painting bullseyes on the tops of their buildings instead?

When you openly threaten to pre-emptively attack a country, then when they say or do anything in response, you can hardly take that as evidence of ill intentions. America and Israel are the ones with ill intentions.

Also Israel mounts a military exercise which could be a dry run for an attack on iran, and that's o.k.

the U.S mounts military exercises in the area, obviously flexing their muscles at Iran, and thats o.k.

Iran mounts military exercises WITHIN their own borders effectively showing their possible response to the current aggression, and that´s bad.

the level of hypocrisy at the moment beggars belief. and current policy does nothing at all for regional stability

  8. About bloody time.

That way the neo fascist Israelis will think twice about attacking.

Have you noticed how easily the Star of David can be turned into a swastika?
