great info. Americans and others really need to look deeper into things. How can people not know that the media and gov't has always used deception to accomplish what they wanted? The good thing about today's world is that information can be shared around the world in milli-seconds, thanx to the internet. 20 years ago we didn't have this luxury and some were forced to 'eat what they were fed'. Unfortunately Americans as a whole have become too lazy to research beyond the tripe that is fed to them by the nationalist junta that has usurped their country. If people would actually research, as you have done, they would find out that not only did he NOT say "wipe Israel off the map", they would also find out that Iran has been submitting to most, if not all, inspections.

EDIT: Sorry, to answer your question: if memory serves me correctly the media claimed he said "Zionist regime."  Personally, I don't take much comfort in knowing he actually said "occupying" instead of Zionist, but that's just me.

Sure, it's interesting, but it doesn't make a case for why we should allow a loose cannon to develop nukes or why we should tolerate state-supported terrorism from him.  The media put a spin on things to make us feel better and maybe to incite a course of action that fits what needs to be done.
