  1. America we have killed 200,000 people in both countries, and destroyed their land, homes and families. Why you ask  so we can force all of the people  to be just like us, no way we can let a whole nation live differently than us, because the American way of life is the only right way to live. I don't care if they are miserable if they aren't like us they are evil and must be killed.

  2. Both are...it depends on where you are and what you do.

If your a pilot, flying is dangerous, but flying in Afghanistan would be more due to the weather and mountains.

As an infantry or (anyone doing the job) dismount, either place canbe dangerous, but it depends on the enemy. The Taliban guys were harder fighters in my book, whereas the insuregents in Iraq mainly used IEDS and snipers.

Thing is you can be on Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan and see nothing and have good easy tour and the same if your on Camp Victory in Iraq. So your level of danger wouldn't matter regardless of job unless you leave the base and go near the enemy.

  3. Afghanistan, hands down.  Even during the worst of the uprising in Iraq, there were simply more troops there. In Iraq, there is almost instantaneous air support not only in tactical air, like helicopters, but naval and air forces on call from carriers and bases are within minutes of engagement.  The overwhelming number of casualties in Iraq are due to roadside bombs, not conventional face to face combat.  This is because of the huge number of support troops in Iraq and the extended lines of communication over which troops and material must pass from secure zones to the interior bases.

The Afghan fighting has been more an ambush and resistance fight; unlike Iraq, the tooth-to-tail ratio in Afghanistan is much higher, meaning there are more active combat troops as opposed to support forces in place, and the Taliban more able because of the terrain to engage our forces in a semi-conventional manner.  Also a factor in making the Afghan campaign more difficult are the terrain, which favors the defense, the number of 'volunteers' from Iran and the recent influx of survivors of the Iraqi campaign joining the Taliban on a daily basis.

  4. Afghanistan because the Taliban is to stupid to let things calm down until after our election, this is what is happening in Iraq.
