He support Obama plan of 16 month withdraw. While McCain has not propose any time table, while Bush is consider 2012, but is not like is gonna matter since he ain't in the box by then.

He is saying that for appearances sake, but anyone who is really paying attention knows Iraq would be SCREWED without US presence.  He has been dragging his feet because he knows the US will be gone one day and his life will get very difficult. Fortunately, some US leaders realize that it would be better to stay there a little longer than to return when everything falls to ****.

Since we invaded them on the pretense of Weapons of Mass Destruction being there and there were none, we should have left then.  No Iraqi had anything to do with 9/11 and if Iraq doesn't want us there, then we should leave.  Otherwise we will be occupiers.  And Democracy supposedly is against occupiers.  I also support Obama's withdrawl plan and believe as he did that we should never have been there in the first place.  What happened to capturing Bin Laden, the mastermind of 9/11?

I thought Iraq belonged to the Iraqis?  Since they elected this government and the US supports democracy the US should honor the Iraqi demands.  Unless of course the US government really doesn't support democracy, justice and freedom...

After we leave 2 things will most likely will happen

1. Revolution

2. Iraq will be over run by terrorists.

So what Iraqi have maybe like 10,000 soldiers to fight.  Us Americans had trouble fighting the terrorists so do u think Iraqi forces will do better ??? I don't think so!

I think 16 months is a goal to strive for, but if the Iraqi government and military are not ready yet, the time must be extended.

I would say that we should leave as soon as we get the first available chance, especially if we are asked to leave.  It's about time we stop playing world police.  

We need to focus more on America, and not CHOOSING who we want to "worry about."

(like there were not other countries that posed a more imminent threat to us)

It's selfish to say, but we should stop spending so much time, effort, and money on this government,

especially since we could use that time, effort and money

                             on our own country!
