We have 4 full days, into Dublin on a Friday morning, leaving early Tuesday. Wanting to see Galway, a few castles and the countryside. My sweetie is there for work so corporate gets to help with the bill. ;) Great romantic restaurants and hidden gems would be wonderful!!! THANKS!! We're excited. PS- it's in April so weather may be a bit "soft" as they say

  1. You want to see all that in 4 days!!!???? Don't be silly. Stick to Dublin.

And the weather 'soft'? Hahahahahh ..... we've just had a weekend of torrential rain and flooding! 'Soft' wouldn't be a word I'd use!

You do realise that the roads here are not built for large volumes of high-speed traffic, the weather is famously unpredictable and that it isn't Disneyland but a real place?

  2. Spend Friday in Dublin, go to Galway on Saturday and stay overnight, and on either Saturday or Sunday take a trip to Bunratty Castle and folk park, which is less than an hour away.  Then go back to Dublin on Monday.  This is assuming you're renting a car, it might be difficult if you're relying on public transport.  Galway is 3-4 hours from Dublin.
