  1. The first woman elected to a national parliment in any european country was countess marcovitz in ireland, this was many years before the US had a woman senator.

Segregation????? What planet are you on..

The people are friendly as long as you dont come over with the attitude that ireland is a backwater place that whips women and keeps them locked up in cages.

Maybe you are getting ireland mixed up with iran????

  2. Do it Ireland is great

  3. Segregation? You mean racially? No.

    Women run the place, honey.

    People are generally very nice.

  4. No segregation.

Women are treated equally, this isn't the 18th century

yes in general they are friendly can depend on the area and how you come acrosss

  5. Segregation? Treatment of women? What kind of screwed up country do you come from? And no by the way.

  6. Women are highly regarded in Ireland.  We currently have a lady President, Mary Mc Aleese who is on her second 7 year term of office,  and before her we had Mary Robinson as President who also served 2 seven year terms.

We don't do segregation or racism here.

  7. Ireland is such a beautiful, interesting place. I never saw any type of mistreatment of women or segregation when I was there. People are respectful and outgoing. If you go out at night, you'll meet tons of friendly people and probably some americans.

I mean, it depends on where you go, I went to Dublin and Galway and had the best time. People there have a great apreciation of the city and the country. It is one of the most beautiful places on earth. Everything is green and the towns are modern, but still have historic castles and parks. It would be a great place for a young person like yourself to go because they have such a trendy younger class of people and students in the cities. The shops are amazing and the pubs are very fun. You would have a blast!

  8. No segregation.

    Women are treated as equals.

The people depend on where you are and how you act.

Ireland is a fully developed nation and one of the wealthiest in the world per capita.
