Hi! I've already planned my Ireland itinerary, except for the very last day.

In the morning from Killarney (or Dingle), I was trying to decide if I should ...

A) Drive up to the Cliffs of Moher and The Burren, then drive to Galway and fly to Dublin (flight leaves Galway at 5:15 p.m.) Spend the night in Dublin and fly out the next morning at 6:25 a.m.

B) Drive to the Cork airport and fly to Dublin, spend the whole day in Dublin, and fly out the next morning at 6:25 a.m.

Thanks for any input! :)

  1. You would need a few Days at least to really enjoy these Places, as it is it will be a Hit and Run.  By the time you reach Dublin you would be knackered, and just fit for Bed. The Drive to Cliffs of Moher, the Burren, and Galway sound Exciting providing you are not doing the Driving. I think this is the best Option as Galway is a Fun Place to be,but it wont leave you with much time to Socialize in Dublin you will be Exhausted.

Option B,When is the Flight leaving Cork Airport is it early enough to really Enjoy Dublin. Dublin is a Great City ,lots to see  plenty of Fashionable Shops ,Pubs and Clubs. You could easily get carried away and be to tired to make your Flight Home the Next Day at 6.25 am.

The Question must be asked which is most Important , Moher ,the Burren, and the Delights of Galway City or Dublin, for me it is Galway but I Live in Ireland in Dublin and can go anywhere I Please and Frankly I am Bored with Dublin, It has become Blasze.

It depends when you will be able to come back to us on a Visit.

If you have the Money for another Trip to the Emerald Isle Next Year.

Good Luck on your Holiday whatever you decide, but whatever you do it will be very Hectic and you will be Totally Destroyed the next Day and find it very hard to make thatFlight Home.

  2. Dublin is a working city, and expensive as h**l. The burren is worth a visit so I say burren and the clifs.

  3. I'd go with option A, but you could drive to Dublin from Clare no problem, it would only take 4 hours.

  4. Depends on what you're into. If you want a night out go to Dublin and visit temple bar (night club district) but that is expensive. If you're more a country person and want to take in the sights, go to the Burren, Cliffs of Moher and Galway (probably the longer route around, so you'll be knackered after)
