  1. Dublin is the Capital of Ireland (Republic of Ireland)

Here is the breakdown of each of the cities you asked about.

Waterford - City (county seat) in County Waterford known for it's Crystal

Dublin - National Capital and also the county seat in County Dublin

Port Laoise - City (county seat) in County Laois

Arlow - I think you meant Arklow, Ireland which is in County Wicklow on the East side of Ireland

  3. I

Dublin is the capital of the Republic, Belfast is the capital of the North.

  4. Dublin

Capital of South Ulster, parts of Wicklow, Meath and Kildare. The only city in the World to be made entirely out of butter, and have a river of green chocolate running through it, except for the city hall, which is made of I-still-can't-believe-it's-not-butter. This led to the Margarine Wars of the late 20th century. Dublin and most of Ireland was rocked by the rebels trying to overcome the margarine rule of northern Ireland. Most of the population of Dublin died quite horrendously during various skirmishes. Over the years, this led to the Irish being replaced by the Polish.
