  1. ok ermmm we're spilt into northern ireland and the republic of ireland since the war of independance that ended in 1921, the north had a lot of tension between catholics and protestants, you could fit the entire of northern ireland into dublin(i mean the population) , a quarter of the country emmigrated during the famine and another quarter died, the only food that comes to mind is irish stew, we built a lot of new york and a lot of roads in england, the titanic was built in belfast, gaelic football and hurling has a highly rated stadium croke park, dublin capacity is over 80,000 i think, hurling is the fastest field sport in the world, hope that helps

  2. Some recipes

Another useful site about the time of economic boom in Ireland, the Celtic Tiger.

  3. beef stew  which consists of oxtail soup, carrots potatos and beef

    coddle

    kol canon

and as we are in europe there is a lot of influence from spain, france, italy, etc.

  4. Well for a start you couldn't fit Northern Ireland into Dublin, though the population is the same Northern Ireland is much much bigger than Dublin.

We have barmbrack, potato bread, soda farls, paris buns and gravy rings - all of which probably sound disgusting to you but are actually really quite nice breads.

And there's black pudding and white pudding with lots of different cheeses from around the countryside.

The political thing is too deep to get into.
