Ireland real estate?

Question

Do cottages really exist on the islands in Ireland, like the Roan Inish movie? If so, around how much would they be....

Also, I'm interested in purchasing a castle, in either Scotland, Ireland, or Wales...

Go to http://www.daft.ie for properties in Ireland.  For some reason I can't post links to the houses I've found on islands, so search for the following:

Under the drop down list marked "Sales", search for Co. Cork.  In the "Area" list, go to "Bere Island", and click "Refine".

Go back to the home page again and search under "Co. Galway".  In the "Area" list, go to "Inishmore" and click "Refine".

As far as I can see, these are the only islands with houses for sale.  I've never seen that film, so I don't know if the houses you want exist.  If you look around the site a bit more you might find some on mainland Ireland anyway.
