  1. The fastest and cheapest way to go is by bus. www.buseireann.ie. There will be plenty of B&B's in the villages around the cliffs, the nearest city is galway or Limerick and they are both a good hour drive away. Try stay local.

  2. It is approx 170 miles from Dublin to the Cliffs of Mohr.

The quickest is by car (expensive)

The cheapest is by bus Dublin to Galway to Cliffs of Mohr.

The nearest "city" would be Galway or Limerick, though there many small towns and villages in the area where accommodation is available such as Doolin (small village), Lahinch (village), Lisdoonvarna (small town), Ennis (Large town).

  3. You have a couple of choices of routes to get to the Cliffs of Moher from Dublin, if you use the Bus Eireann (National Bus Company). Depending on the time of day that you travel there is not a whole lot of difference in the total journey time.

Your choice might depend on which city you would like to pass through – Limerick or Galway, and the towns you will travel through to get there.

Liscannor is an ideal place to stay for access to The Cliffs of Moher. I have provided a link to accommodation there. Link 1 below

The first leg of your journey will be from Dublin to either Limerick or Galway and both busses leave from Dublin Bus Árus (Central Bus Station) map provided link 2 below

Galway City  (Route 20), change bus in Galway city to the Galway to Lahinch (Route 50) Route 50 goes through Liscannor.

Limerick City (Route 12), change bus in Limerick to the Limerick to Doolin (Route 337) which also goes through Liscannor.

Link to Journey Planner for both routes at link 3 below.
