Ireland trip: should I visit the Cliffs of Moher & the Burren, or should I visit Dublin?

Question

From Killarney, I was trying to decide if I should spend a day going up to the Cliffs & the Burren, then flying from Galway back to Dublin to catch my flight home.

Or if I should skip the Cliffs & Burren, and instead fly from Shannon to Dublin and do some sight-seeing in Dublin.

So what do you think is more interesting to see:

1) Cliffs of Moher and The Burren, or

2) Dublin

I live a mile from the cliffs - unbelievabl place to be. So special. you can't miss it for the sake of another noisy city.
