Ireland visa?

Im an american citizen born and raised..Currently living in egypt...i wanna travel to ireland,,do i need a visa or can i just go and fill out the paperwork there?

  1. if you are travelling with your American passport you are allowed entry for 3 months

As an american you can enter Ireland as a visitor for 90 days without a visa.  we have a unique arrangement with US immigration wherby we can clear US immigration in Dublin or Shannon prior to departure to the States. On arrival you simply go through a domestic channel. This was set up by President Clinton during his office.  I've used this facility many times and its great.
