Ireland vs France, Whats gonna happen...?

One of two things are gonna happen.   Ireland are gonna continue their abysmal form and get blown off the field by a French team that I am expecting to play at almost their peak OR...... all the criticism is going to help Ireland turn their slump around and they are going to play like everyone knows they are capable of playing and they'll send France tumbling out of the RWC.

I am hoping for the latter, but I am expecting the froggies to win it.

All the nothern hemisphere giants are c**p at the moment.

France have already been upset.

Ireland escaped a Georgian ambush by four points.

Italy had its best 6 nations this year beating Scotland at Murrayfield as the highlight which promised so much for their WC form...only to get KO'd by the ABs in round one.

Wales are struggling against the minnows and then that was confirmed by the aussies in Cardiff.

Romania did well to ask serious questions of the Scots at Murrayfield in a game full of errors mostly by the home team in a fully unconvincing win against the 15th ranked team in the world.

And then we have the defending WC champs England...What an ungracious fall from the throne in slow motion.

I predict most of the Ire v Fra game will be a kick fest. Trade a few penalty kicks, sprinkled with a couple drop kicks here and there from both sides. And then near to the end of the game, around the 75 min mark...if i havent fallen off to sleep already...Ireland should crack and France will score from broken play to win the game.

I support Ireland but to be honest I think they will get pummled. When your team struggles to beat Georgia...well its not looking too promising really. The frogs will step their game up for the home crowd and own Ireland. Having said that, I hope that won't happen!
