I am traveling to Ireland (armagh, specifically) in late june this summer and am wondering if it is worth it to lug rainboots over or if it is too much to carry to be worth it. i hear it can get pretty wet, but i dont know if its worth it to take up half a suitcase with rainboots....

oh also i tried checking weather.com for weather in armagh, but all it would give me is dublin and so i am wondering where i can find weather for armagh or if anybody who lives in northern ireland can give me some insight as to the weather in the week of june 24th. thanks!

  1. in summer we can get a dull day with misty rain (soft day thank god) is what we call it but no we dont have monsoon weather,so forget rainboots ,

  2. ive lived in ireland for the last 21yrs and ive never owned a pair of wellies, u can get them if u wish tio be a farmer and work with cows but if u dont plan on doing that then i dont recommend u get a pair.... we get rain a good bit of it sometimes but we usualy have a good drainage system u wont be ankle deep in it!

  3. weather for weekend of 24th june.

rain ,showery not as heavy as of late, temps will get up to mid teens, and will get windy (making  it feel colder,)

    weather by

    www.meteirann.ie

    covers all of ireland.

  4. Dont bring rainboots unless you want to be laughed at. Just bring a brolly, and you should be fine.

  5. I've been to Ireland and you certainly will not need rain boots. It does rain quite often, but it isn't that extremely wet.  In so far as the weather is concerned, you can check out http://uk.weather.com/ and type in Armagh.  I checked, and they do have the current temperature and forecast for that city on there.  Have a great trip!

  6. you dont need rain boots..may be a little rain, but its nothing shocking..most likely it will be pleasant enough, enjoy.

  7. Ireland is a small country so the forcast for dublin will be generally the same as for armagh give or take as both are on the east side of the country.

The rain in Florida is much worse than any thing i have seen in ireland so leave the rain boots behind.
