Irfan Pathan urges Delhi Daredevils to prove a point against struggling Deccan Chargers

“Deccan Chargers and we both haven’t done that well,” conceded Pathan while talking to the media ahead of his team’s 10th game of the ongoing 2011 season. “We want to make sure that we play really well against the Chargers,” he insisted.

“I'm certainly looking for better performances from myself and its going to happen,” said the left-arm seamer. “There has been some improvement with my bowling and batting in the IPL matches so far and I will like to do more. The more balls I face and more
balls I bowl in the matches I am going to get better and better.”
He hoped if he continued playing well and gives his absolute best, performance will automatically come.
Talking about Daredevils performance in the tournament, the Gujarat pacer agreed they have not done well as a team so far in the ongoing season.
With only three wins from nine games, the Daredevils stand at number 8 on the points table and in order to make the knockout stage, they need to win all of their remaining five matches of the league stage.
