Irfan Pathan???????any comments????

Question

he was slected as the emerging player of the year by ICC when he started his career and now he has turned out as an ordinary medium pacer who can bat a bit!

when i saw him first i have wondered how he swings the bowl like this and it was quiet sure that he'll take a wicket in his initial burst!

what happened to him now????

He is one of the best swing bowlers in the world,a decent batsman and a good fielder.

He started with a bang and his swing bowling was hard to

ready the batsman and hence he was very successful. Once

teams start to analyze the opponent's bowling and if the

bowler does not have the variation, every batsman can easily

read what the ball is going to be. Add to it, when things

started to fail on him,  he tried to hard without be smart and

was outsmarted by the opponents. He does not have the

potential of Wasim Akram as many thought that he could

become one. Wasim was a legend and his bowling was

never easy to read. In this aspect he has failed to deliver.

The WC T20 gave him an opportunity to excel and he took

full advantage of it. He is still a moderate bowler but nothing

great and I do not think he can become like a Akram type

bowler. He is still early wicket taking bowler with 110-130

speed, which is below par to be called a fast bowler.

Batting wise, he is really good and he can bat far better than

any bowlers. He is the best batsman among the bowlers that

India has. Fielding wise he far better than many but there is

a lot for him to improve on.

this is guru greg chappele's fault he let him do batting as a pinch hitter and from that time his bowling is going to more and more bad.

A very Promising All Rounder in Indian cricket, He is still learning the game, in couple more years he will be on top his game and playing a good part in Indian cricket.

right now he is struggling and not performing good, thats part of the game, you have to struggle and fight your way to the top or to be the Best
