Iridescent Shark Question?

Ok I have been reading about them and it says pangasius sutchi is the smallest species and if so tell me how big and min. tank size. Alot of places say the sutchi gets 6"-18" please help me here

they could reach 3-4 feet, They grow fast and can eat alot and the tank can be a 55 gallons for one 10 inch shark. if you have one be aware of ick.
