  1. I live in Dublin and have never heard of Nolon. Do you mean Nolan maybe. If you do there is thousands of Nolan's, you will need to find out where abouts in Dublin you family lived to start tracing them. Could your mother/father/whoever you moved to America with not help you. If you could get a location that would be a great start for you to trace your family.

  2. You've got to be a Nolan.  Type Irish Phone Book (or Eircom) into Google, have a look start there.  Good look

  3. no..

  4. I searched the eircom.ie telephone directory, (Eircom is the former state owned Irish telephone company) and typed in Nolon, there were none in Dublin who registered their phone (or Nolan? there are 1115 in Dublin).  This doesn't mean that there are none, just that they instructed Eircom not to put their name in the directory.  The best place to start is to ask your parents for some information, from there it might be possible to contact the local church?  I have heard that if you contact the salvation army, they will carry out this research for you?

Sorry I cannot be of more assistance.
