Is the blue soap bar of irish spring considered to be mild. I need to use a mild soap to wash my face and I was wondering if using the Irish bring would be okay. Thanks

  1. women shouldn't wash delicate places with irish spring (face or personal parts) because it's way too strong. Go to an international food store & get some olive oil soap use regular tone with coco butter(it's a soap)  which can be found anywhere.

  2. no, it is a deodorant soap (which has lots of perfumes/chemicals to make it smell good.) Examples of good mild soaps are ivory soap or dove unscented soap or plain glycerin soap. But, (bar) soap is usually not the best choice to use on your face because it can clog pores and cause acne. Your best bet is to buy a face wash for sensitive skin to use on your face, then use soap and/ or body wash on your body

  3. As far as i know, Irish Spring Soap has harsh detergents that can dry your skin out. It's best to use a face wash that doesn't contain soap or detergents as well as fregrances. Dove and Aveeno have good cleansers that help hydrate your skin.

  4. You shouldn't wash your face with soap it's very drying and contains detergent that's very strong on facial skin.  I would recommend you look for a facial wash.
