  1. First off I'm also 13. I am from England and I go to air cadets.

I don't think there is any such thing as Irish army cadets but I'm sure there is something similar in your area.

If there is any English folk answering then join Air Cadets.

Dose everything the army cadets dose and learn to fly.

    Get more information.

  2. Here's some info. Good luck!

  3. Yes ladd its good to see some irish people on this thing once in a while, (I live in Doire/Derry n Im 14) I have never heard of irish cadets but here in the north we have royal army cadets which include air cadets and army cadets, Ive heard its good craic and that most of them when they are 18 join the Royal Irish Regiment, (part of the British Army) Personally I would rather serve in the Irish Army like you in the rangers.

    PS

To become an officer I think you need a degree, enlisted you dont need one, though I may be wrong!!

  4. I don't know how they do things in Ireland but I'd see if your school has an Irish equivalent of JROTC, that'll lay the ground work for your military career. And study hard in school and take as many AP classes as you can for college credit.
