  1. We all know the IRB has everything organized to allow Ireland and France to go through at the expense of Argentina, that's why the Pumas have got to play their second game only 4 days after their first when France and Ireland have 7 days before their next game! Explain that to me...

France will probably go through and I hope Argentina defeats Ireland (if they both play like they did in their first game Argentina are clear favourites to win that game) because they deserve to make it to the next round and the irish do not.

  2. we are not cheaters!!!!  It was a bad referee decision!  If the boot had of been on the other foot and that was england you wouold take the try too!

  3. Don't know about corruption, but, i agree on the last try. don't worry too much "All Blacks" are the next world champs.(bit of a kiwi, me ) Take Care!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. Ireland had already gotten the bonus point before Flannery went over. the ref must have seen something but i agree it was a bit conterversial, if it had been a bigger game there would have been war, wasnt too sure of the no. 12's try for Namibia either looks as if he lost it forward in the tackle over the line. I agree that Flannerys try should have gone to the TMO, it was hard to see cause Donnacha O callaghan came flying in too and it was hard to see the ball, so if the TMO cant see the ball it would have been a scrum.

As i said tho, Ireland already had the bonus point we had already scored 4 tries (Driscoll, Trimble, Easterby and the penalty try), but it was bad form from the ref to simply blow the whistle. namibia wouldnt have gotten the points anyway but for them it would have been a great performance. Ireland continue their poor form and if they dont destroy Georgia it looks as if we'll be taking an early flight home.

  5. Ireland already had their bonus point, having scored 4 tries before that. It definitely wasn't a try and if something like that happened in a crucial game, there would be uproar, but i don't know about corruption - how about bad refereeing

  6. The referee interpreted the ruling incorrectly of "downward pressure".

Previously, the scoring player had to be in complete control of the ball when scoring a try. This has now been changed to being in control of the ball, but not necessarily having their hand on it at point of touch down.

Already in this world cup there have been a couple of tries scored on this ruling.

Had the ref called for the TV ruling, then I am certain that the try would not have been given.

As to corruption, I am afraid to say, I think you are speaking in tongues, as I have noticed no improprieties, and with the exclusion of the England game, I saw all the matches this weekend, and noticed no such thing.

I think after the Irish result though, Argentina must be considered a good bet for winning their group.

  7. think your question should read "poor refereeing?" rather than "irish cheaters?"

  8. I often feel that the underdogs get bad refereeing decisions against them..........we see it often against Italy in the 6N's campaign!

Are these referees afraid of the BIG GUNS????????

  9. ur an idiot quite simply

  10. I dont think you can call the Irish cheaters after all it was the ref who awarded the try immediately, he never asked for a replay so it was bad refereeing if anything. And as to your point about the bonus point (pardon the pun), you get a bonus point for getting 4 tries which Ireland had already got before the disputed try was scored.
