We're looking to travel by car to Ireland in August - does anyone have any tips for travelling (i.e. cheapest routes/days to travel).

I'v been traveling alot by Ferry this last while, and there is very little difference in any of the prices.

Around £135 each way with car.

Around £25 each way as a Footpassager.

I have found if you shop around you can save yourself a few £ but not a while pile.
