  1. Never heard of Flogging Molly, are they American?

  2. Good Irish bands - The Frames, Bell X1 are both excellent, if it's good sing-song drinking songs you want, then The Chieftains or The Wolfe Tones have been around for ages and are just the job for a Super Sunday drinking session!

  3. What about Christy Moore or The Dubliners? The Wolfe Tones?

  4. My best answer for you, like what you said for, chugging a few brews would definitely be The Pogues. You'll have a great time belting out there tunes while knocking back some Guinness.

  5. Umm hmm Great Big Sea Maybe?

    They're Irish-y and pretty good

    mom says Irish Rovers

  6. Well, I'm not exactly clear what it is you want here.  Do you want Irish rock type stuff?  Or something else?  I prefer bands like Lunasa, Solas, Teada, Danu, and Altan.  And solo artists like Liz Carroll, Kevin Crawford, Tommy Peoples, and the like.  But that's the traditional dance music -- reels and jigs.  It's great stuff!

  7. Daniel O'Donnell is an original Irish Balladeer, popular in Ireland, Canada, and the United States for his Irish ballads. He also sings some US Country, and some pop.  You can find out more about his music at my website
