if u r a irish national livingin uk with 2 children under 3 years old

what if any visa do u need.

can my youngest at 5 months travel on my passport or not

  1. where are you travelling too? We need to know so we can see if you need a visa or not!

    Certainly not between the UK & Eire.


  2. It appears you will need to get your 5 month old an Irish passport      of it's own.

    Standard 3 year Passport (Infant 0-2 years): 32 pages (EUR15)

    Passports for Children

    Since 1 October 2004, all children, regardless of age, must obtain an individual passport in their own name. In line with best international practice, the Department of Foreign Affairs ceased the practice of including children on their parents' passports since 1 October 2004. This is intended to increase the security of international travel for children and reduce the risk of kidnapping and child trafficking. Parents passports issued before 1 October on which children have been included remain valid and do not need to be replaced. Children who are included on a parent's passport issued before 1 October 2004, may continue to travel to most countries up to their 16th birthday along with that parent providing the passport is still valid.

    As for the visa I don't know where you are going.
