Boyd Rankin returns to the Ireland squad for the Bangladesh series- News update
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Ireland-c751, has returned to national colors and will be playing for the Irish Cricket team which takes on the touring Bangladeshis in the upcoming series at home.
He will feature in the RSA sponsored T20 series which begins in Stormont. The games against Bangladesh will take place on July the 18th, 20th and the 21st
respectively. The first two games will kick off at 5 pm with the other fixture on Saturday, being played at 4pm, local time.
Rankin was out of action as he was grappling with a stress injury in his right foot during the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/United-Arab-Emirates-c3033. In his short career, which includes appearances in two world cups, he has taken 109 wickets in 78 matches
for Ireland.  The 2007 world cup in the Caribbean was a purple patch for Rankin as he ended up as Ireland’s top wicket taker with 12 wickets. He is confident and adamant over the fact that he will play a key role in Ireland’s preparation for the mega event
which starts in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Warwickshire-c862.  He bowled seven overs in the
three day game against the Northants club and managed to take a wicket for 11 runs.
"It's obviously been a frustrating time sitting on the sidelines but it's great to be back bowling again. The foot is feeling good - the initial healing period was given as 10-12 weeks, but we gave it a further two and I'm benefitting from that."
Rankin was optimistic about playing Bangladesh at home and acknowledged that they were fierce competitors. He was also delighted over the fact that Ireland managed to qualify for the ICC World T20 in Sri Lanka.
