  1. On Microsoft Word, type CTRL and the ' button at the same time, along with the 'a' button.  You can't do this on Yahoo Answers or on Outlok (email), but you can write in Microsoft Word and copy it like I did below:

    Go n'éirí an t-ádh leat!!!

  2. now thats a good question..aint got a clue,im irish too,i hope someone solves your problem hun,slan leat.xxxx

  3. press CTRL + ALT + whatever letter you want the fada to be over.

Edit: it should automatically work for you on yahoo or any other site. í á ó ú...does for me

  4. It depends on your computer's setup and operating system.

On my keyboard, using Windows XP, simply holding down the right Alt button (sometimes marked as Alt Gr) and pressing the vowel will produce a fada: é

On some keyboards, the way to do it would be to hold down two keys, then press the desired letter. For the é again, this would be right Alt + ' (apostrophe) and the letter.

  5. All you have to do is push and hold Ctrl and Alt and then push the Letter you want to have the Fada over it!

    :D
