Irish photographer?

Question

I am looking for the name of an amazing Irish photog who was known for news and sports work, and documenting Irish history, winning many awards. I was traveling in Ireland last summer, and there was an exhibition in the photography musem in, I believe, Dublin. Any ideas or links?

We dont have a photography museum.  However I think you might be talking about an Irish Times photographer, just cant remember his name think it is Tom ..... You could contact the Irish Times and ask.  Their website is www.ireland.com. Most of the newspaper content is premium but you could email them.  Hope this helps.

Are you perhaps thinking of Bill Doyle? Otherwise, I'm drawing a blank. The gallery in Temple Bar, as mentioned above, often has exhibitions, so you could contact them and ask them. If that's where you saw it.
